Measuring Electromagnetic Fields (EMF)
Stress caused by electromagnetic fields in your home or work place can be caused by many man-made items such as fuse boxes, electrical appliances, microwave ovens, digital alarm clocks, mobile and cordless phones, power lines, televisions, computers, electric blankets, lights, underfloor heating, baby monitors and faulty wiring.
The human body wasn’t designed to absorb these insidious, invisible disturbances, and there are many scientists who are convinced that constant exposure to electromagnetic radiation can cause a number of health problems including insomnia, headaches, memory loss, stuffy or runny nose, depression, joint pains, tingling or numbness in arms or legs, blushing, palpitations, breathing problems, red/blotchy skin and, more seriously, some cancers and chronic fatigue syndrome.
Using a gauss meter our consultant will expose any “hot spots” in your home. Often the solution is merely to move further away from the source of radiation - for instance, moving the bed away from the wall that has the fuse box located on the opposite side.
High levels of this radiation, and the indiscriminate use of chemicals, combined with many other factors, contribute to what is commonly known as “sick building syndrome”.
