Three Schools of Feng Shui
Each of the three schools of Feng Shui look at different aspects of your home, property and surrounding area. Each supports the others in creating an holistic perspective of how best to proceed in maximising the positive and negating the challenging influences of chi (Energy).
Form School
As its name implies, Form School involves the analysis of forms or objects that are in or surrounding your home or work place. Examples of forms are furniture and objects (both indoors and out), pot plants, trees, fences, swimming pools – even neighbouring buildings. Form school represents the energy that is tangible or seen.
Compass School
This analyses the different directional sectors of your home. A compass is used to calculate the precise direction your home faces and then a unique pattern that is made up of eight trigrams – the Bagua – is established. The chi (energy) that falls into each room of your home or work place is then calculated and analysed.
Flying Star School
The Flying Star School is the traditional Chinese Feng Shui and is based on numerology which is the “language of the universe”. It is the most complex, accurate and powerful form of Feng Shui and is used to calculate the natal chart of the building and identify the different qualities of energy that are within the sectors of your home or work place. This knowledge then allows you to implement steps to enhance or lessen the energies accordingly. Flying Stars represents the intangible or unseen energy, which is the energy that has the most influence.
